Do you struggle with anxiety?

You are not alone!

I struggle with anxiety and am passionate about talking about it for three reasons:
1. To encourage fellow anxiety sufferers that we are not alone
2. To speak truth that we have a God who fights for us in our battles
3. To share helpful coping mechanisms that have impacted my journey

On this page you’ll find articles I’ve written about my struggle with anxiety as well as a resource that I created to help you in your own struggle. I pray that they might be an encouragement to you. If you ever need someone to talk to, don’t hesitate to contact me.

10 Scripture cards to combat Anxiety

10 Scripture Cards to Combat Anxiety

Through the years, the most valuable lesson I have learned about anxiety is that scripture is an incredibly powerful weapon.

In moments of heavy anxiety, it can be difficult to shift your focus to Bible verses that speak truth. This is why I created 10 Scripture Cards to Combat Anxiety - a FREE printable resource with 10 of my go-to Bible verses when I’m struggling with anxiety.

Each of these verses reminds me that I have power through Jesus to find peace amidst anxiety. My prayer is that they would do the same for you.

All you need to do is download the pdf, print, and cut the cards. Take them with you in the car, set them on your nightstand - use them in whatever way will serve you best!

send me the scripture cards!

An article I wrote for The Kindred Voice

In a culture where anxiety is an unspoken epidemic, anxiety sufferers, like myself, are often left craving support from their friends and loved ones.

It’s an unfortunate fall-out that I don’t believe is intentional. Rather, it is birthed from a plethora of reasons like confusion on how to approach the subject, fear of saying the wrong thing, lack of personal experience thus lack of understanding, or simply the missing piece of empathy.

Whatever the reason might be, my hope is that by sharing five simple ways to support a friend with anxiety, I might help demystify the subject and shed light on how easy it can be to provide encouragement.
